Dibba Oil’s Alieu Jammeh has earned a late called up to the Gambia U-23 team after his impressive season in the GFF second tier.
Announcing the inclusion of Jammeh’s name on the U-23 team, Dibba Oil’s media person posted on the Dibba Oil WhatsApp fan page saying “Pro is being called up.”
Pro as commonly called, scored 21 league goals in the just concluded league season making him the top scorer.
His 21 goals help his side gain a playoff spot to battle for promotion for the country’s first division league.
Dibba Oil ended the 2021/2022 league campaign with a 1-1 draw against Bombada football club on at Soma Mini Stadium.
The draw left his side 4th on the table and set to battle with Bombada who are 3rd on the playoffs.
