The Gambia Male senior team coach Tom Saintfiet has revealed his squad list to face South Sudan and Congo Brazzaville ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Belgian tactician has called up goalkeeper Lamin Sarr, Mattar Ceesay, Kalifa Manneh, Sainey Njie, Sulayman Bojang and Hamza Barry who missed the entire AFCON 2021 due to injury.
The new Hammarby addition Babucarr Trawally, Shiekh Sibi, Cardiff’s Ebou Adams, Noah Sonko, and Saidy Janko all missed out on the final squad list to face South Sudan and Congo Brazzaville.

With the Gambia to play in Senegal as their home ground after the lone Independence stadium was declared unfit to host international matches, Tom Saintfiet now has a task of returning the Scorpions to the AFCON for the second time.
