Pa Furmus Correa Gambia U20 acting coach Abdoulie Bojang (Lie) has been announced as the official Head Coach of the U20 team effective July 25.
The GFF announced via a Facebook post stating “the Gambia Football Federation is pleased to announce that Abdoulie Bojang ( Lie ) is been appointed on promotion to the position of Head Coach of the Gambia National U-20 team.”
Abdoulie Bojang’s contract length as the official Gambia U20 coach is a two-year-deal contract that includes selecting and developing a team to progress to the next stages.
“It is a two year contract and I was given the contract a long time ago, I decided to keep it long to go over the details,” Abdoulie Bojang said on N24 Radio’s Tuesday Sports Daily.
Abdoulie Bojang as the Gambia U20 acting coach helped Gambia to a FIFA U20 World Cup knockout stage finish and a silver finished at the U20 AFCON.
