Ebrima Gaye the man on every BST Galaxy fan lips inspired the Galaxies into a 2-1 comeback win against the champions Real De Banjul at the Brikama Boxbar Mini Stadium on Friday.
The Champions took an early lead through young forward Sarjo Fofana in the 1st minute of the match but were left to return to the capital with nothing in the bag.
A 35th and 50th minute brace from Ebrima Gaye saw BST Galaxy put an upset in Real De Banjul’s unbeaten run and hopes of retaining the top spot for at least another week or so.
Reacting to the victory, club owner Bubacarr Steve Trawally posted “this is what we do” while sharing the club’s fulltime update.
The Galaxies have now moved to 3rd with 14 points while Real De Banjul dropped to second with 15 points and are a point behind league leaders Fortune FC.
