Gamtel 1-0 breather to test penalty rejoicer Dibba Oil

Gamtel/Gamcel beat BK Milan 1-0 at the Independence Stadium in the GFF 1st division semi-final playoff match.

The telecommunication boys took the lead at the 30th minute to see out ten man BK Milan to advance to the final of the play-off matches.

BK Milan’s hopes of probably getting an equalizer were cut short after they were down to 10 men at the 43rd of the match.

Elsewhere in the other semi-final, Dibba Oil Football Academy edged out Bombada FC in an 8-7 post-match penalty shoot-outs at the Independence Stadium in the GFF 1st division first Semi-final playoff game.

The Oil boys took a late lead in the 87th minute but Bombada immediately bounced back at the stroke of the 90th minute forcing the tie to a penalty shootout.

The two teams met in the just concluded second division league season twice and shared spoils in both games.

Dibba Oil will now face Gamtel FC in the playoff final on Friday 2nd September, 2022 at the late Ousman Saho memorial football field in Old Yundum.
