EBRIMA SOHNA SIGNS FOR CHAMPIONS FORTUNE FC

After 15 years of absence in The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) league now Ebrima Sohna returns to the league where it all started for him before venturing into professional football.

Sohna, Gambian International returned to the domestic league 15 years after leaving his boyhood club Wallidan to join follow league competitors Fortune.

Monday was the day that marked the return of Sohna in the league as he signed a year contract with champions Fortune FC.

The new employers of Sohna said they need his complete skills for their campaign in the CAF African Championships preliminary which begins on home soil in September.

A Fortune official said the player is also excited that he would have a chance to play for something valuable and regain his competitive edge.

Having played in different leagues its no doubt that Sohna will bring in experience in the Fortuners midfield.

With Sohna’s return could it possibly be a limited playing time for the future prospect Tijan Marr and Lamin Saidykhan?
