THE WAIT FOR MINUTES CONTINUES FOR MARREH AS HE WAS UNUSED IN GENT 2-1 DEFEAT

As the wait for minutes continues for Sulayman Marreh after recovering from injury, he was still unused in the 1st leg 2-1 UEFA Champions League (UCL) qualifiers match defeat against Dyinamo Kyiv on Wednesday.

Gent who saw a 2-1 home defeat will travel to Kyiv for the 2nd leg before Marreh and his side been rule of the 2020/2021 season’s UCL.

Marreh who is 24 with 15 caps for the Gambia and 0 minutes on the domestic his name the new season still have a chance to feature in the 2nd leg if he catches the eye of the coach.

Marreh who is among the 40 man provisional squad of Tom Saintfiet will battle the likes of Sheriff Sinyan, Ebrima Sohna, Alasan Manneh, to be among the trimmed 23 man squad with playing being a problem.

Could playing time deny him the chance to be part of the 23 man squad to face Gabon in November or will Tom Saintfiet still call him up like he did with Ebrima Sohna.
